Today I'm here to tell you all about Blair Elizabeth, my beautiful little niece! This little squish is only 7 days new + the world's a better place since she arrived.
My sister agrees, too, naturally! We all had a great time hanging out and taking pictures together, even though Ms. Blair was a bit camera shy ;) Already picking on her auntie. Eventually she fell asleep...sometimes they just need mom + dad's touch :)
Despite the fight of sleeping (which she finally did), though, we got some seriously amazing photos! It certainly helps that baby Blair is such a photogenic little lady! I just love this little squish!
I love so in love with bunnies my sister wanted to include in her session! The bunnies were gifts from her baby shower. Definitely goes with Easter season!

Today I'd like you to meet Lydia, the adorable daughter of Marcy + Tommy. This little lady has only been on Earth for a short period, but she is such a naturally beautiful baby. I absolutely had to take advantage of those good looks during this session.
Seriously -- her creamy skin tone, smooth complexion and natural glow make Lydia a serious contender for pretty much any “cute baby contest” in the country!
Because I wanted to highlight baby Lydia's good looks, I chose to keep props and background noise to a minimum. Mom loves mint so we chose that wrap with a soft pink headband + I did use Cream / Ivory Faux Fur from Sweet Baby James Shop on Etsy to help enhance the natural beauty she already has, though!

Can you believe how big this little fella has gotten since then? I had to blink a few times to make sure I was seeing things clearly! He is already learning with assistance, rolling over, & really enjoys making silly faces! It's amazing how fast they grow!

The photos I'm sharing with you today turned out so beautifully. As I was editing all the preview pictures for this blog post, I kept getting more and more excited with how they all turned out.
Before I debut this session, though, I want to first tell you about Christine & Ryan. We met up at TY Warner Park on cool cloudy almost spring Saturday and Christine was just glowing! The last time I saw this couple was for their engagement pictures back in the fall of 2012. I feel so lucky to follow them in their life milestone. We had a fun time last session so I knew we were in for a real treat this time around!
We had a really fun time together and I know that Christine & Ryan are going to make the best parents to their little squish.
Oh, and if you're wondering if it's a boy or girl, you'll have to wait to find out what the sex is!

Remember baby Eleanor?
Well this 3 month old beauty is now holding up her head and grabbing for objects on her play mat.
It feels like just yesterday I was crouched in front of adorable Eleanor snapping pictures like a maniac at her newborn session. I was really looking forward to seeing her again to see how she has changed over the past three months. And my, how she's grown!
Big Brother Ben is now 4 years young!! I have been taking his pictures since he was a newborn as well.
Love these kids so much!
Nicole said that Eleanor loves blowing bubbles and cooing. Benjamin and Evalyn love playing legos together.
What a cutie patootie!
Luckily for me, I get to photograph Eleanor again in 3 months. I'm dying to see how much more she has changed between now and then!

I'm back again with another session featuring the oh-so-charming Lincoln. I've been lucky enough to photograph Lincoln several times now, thanks to my milestone package { currently being updated :) }
Since our last session, Lincoln has already learned to pull himself up to standing position & also can push & walk with his walker. His momma sure does have her hands full, now.
Speaking of Lincoln's mom, she did a fabulous job prepping him for this 9 month milestone session. She's practically a pro at this by now!

I think we can all agree: His hair & smile should earn him a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Seriously, I'm practically melting from cuteness overload!
Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below, Jake and I had one of the best sessions together. His mom, Becky, made sure he had a full belly & helped him stayed awake until his session time. Her preparation efforts allowed us to have an especially awesome shoot together.
Jake slept most of the way through the 2 hour session. And when he wasn't sleeping, Jake was pretty calm & only needed to be soothed a few times with the help of mom's shushing. He couldn’t have been any better.
Mr Jake is here is a very special baby although every baby is special and should be celebrated, Mr Jake is a rainbow baby. I'm sure many of you have heard the term Rainbow Baby. A “Rainbow Baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage, still birth, neonatal death or infant loss.
“Rainbow Babies” are the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of the storm. When a rainbow appears, it does not mean that the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and the clouds. Storm clouds may still loom over, but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color, energy, and much needed hope.
This is a session that leaves you, as the photographer, feeling blessed....blessed that this amazing beautiful family allowed you to share, if only a moment, in their very personal storm and rainbow.

We met up at Eaton Preserve in Plainfield on a cold beautiful Saturday in January and Sara was just glowing. They brought a couple of really cute & special props! I knew we were in for some awesome photos!
Overall, we had a really fun time together and I know that Sara & Chris are going to make the best parents to their little angel.
This baby is so incredibility loved & Auntie Lu Lu can't wait to meet you!!!

Today I'd like you to meet some very special people: baby Nathan and his older sister, Allison! Our shoot was very successful and I am excited about the shots I was able to capture!
Allison is so happy to have a younger brother, and she made that apparent at our shoot! She is very protective of her little brother, its adorable!! One thing's for certain – baby Nathan will always have someone looking out for him!
As you can see from the pictures below, these little ones were so good during the session, and already share such a connection. I can’t wait to see how they interact as they get older!
